State Aid For Ohio Firemen Chief G. A. Wallace of Cleveland, O., and others of that city were granted a hearing on March 20 by Governor Cox at Columbus, on their application for state aid for the pension fund for firemen in the cities of the state. Their plan is to re-enact the old law, repealed ten years ago, that gave to cities maintaining firemen’s pension funds a portion of the fees paid to the state by foreign fire insurance companies. Since this law was repealed the permanency and so! vency of the fund is threatened. The matter wlil be further considered by Governor Cox.
