FILTRATION The $25,000 filtration plant at Bu_____lington, Kans., has been completed. The Board of Control, of Greenville, O., has under consideration plans for a filtration plant. The board has received reports from consulting engineers and the board members recently went to Cincinnati to view the filtration plant there. Service Director Kent, of Canton, O., has been informed by Chief Engineer Dittoe, of the State Board of Health, that he would make official tests of the water in three wells which the city contemplates using to increase Canton’s water supply. Superintendent Johnston, of the Marquette, Mich., water works, has received the report of an analysis of the city water, which states that it is entirely safe for drinking. The analysis was made at Lansing by E. R. Chambers, assistant bacteriologist.
