Muskegon Heights, Mich., Water System It has been decided that an air compressor system of pumping water will be installed at Muskegon Heights, Mich., the report of Lester Soule, engineer, being favorably received by the authorities. Five new wells will be dug for the new system. According to the figures furnished by Mr. Soule, the entire cost will not be more than $3,500. The pump and installation expenses will cost $1,200. The balance comes from the need of a large reservoir and the digging of the five wells. Mr. Soule went over the entire system now in operation at the Heights, and alter sounding several of the wells he stated that there was more than an adequate supply of water for an air compressor and he was confident that it would prove to be satisfactory. He further stated that the pump would furnish between 35,000 and 40,000 gallons per hour.…
