Cody, Wyo., Seeks Federal Aid to Repair Water System. A movement is on foot in Cody, Wyo., to obtain United States government aid to give city an adequate water supply. It is claimed that the present water supply is unfit and inadequate as a direct result of the government operations in building Shoshone Dam and a bill to appropriate $100,000 to give the city relief may be introduced in Congress. While on a visit to Washington, D. C., Hon. George T. Beck, of Cody, called upon the reclamation service and laid the matter of Cody’s damaged water system before the proper authorities in that branch. It was explained that there were no funds in that department to be used for that purpose. Mr. Beck then took the matter up with Congressman Mondell, of Wyoming, and others.
