Th atre Fire at Louisville At Louisville, Ky., August 24, the Hopkins Theatre was badly damaged by fire at 6.25 a. m. The building was 100 by 200 feet, three stories high and constructed of brick and stone, 42 years ago. The fire started in the theatre from an unknown cause and was confined to the building. The fire was through the roof when the department arrived. Ten engines, three trucks and one water tower were in service. There were 1 f streams on the fire. The water was sufficient. The loss was $150,000.
