FOR REGULATION OF INSPECTIONS IN NEW YORK. The latest move announced in the movement to consolidate building inspection in New York City, so as to do away with a conflict of inspections by various city and state boards and bureaus, or “over inspection,” is a recommendation by the conference committee of the Real Estate and Allied Organizations that the Bureaus of Buildings in the various boroughs be continued and their jurisdiction enlarged by the transfer of some of the jurisdiction of various state and city departments. The draft of the recommendation was prepared by George W.
