WATER WORKS NEWS ITEMS The Water Board of Omaha, Nebr., has reorganized with P. C. Heafey as chairman. The total pumpage at Phoenix, Ariz., for the month of December was 79,396,000 gallons, according to Superintendent Avery Thompson. The Board of Public Works of Fulton, N. Y., has issued an order forbidding the erection of buildings within 500 feet of springs from which the city gets its water supply. Five new wells will be next month in operation in Memphis, Tenn. These wells will augment the supply of the Auction Avenue pumping plant. Work was commenced on these wells in October. The City Council of Harrison, Ark., has en;aged Albert C. Moore, an engineer of Joplin, shall issue bonds for the improvement. Water from the wells recently sunk at Saranac, Mich., for the new village system was tested out this week and found to be clear and in abundant quantities. The…
