Block Fire at Corry The Cameron Building, one of the largest and finest business blocks in Corry, Pa., containing the store of Sam Jacobson and Company, the Palm Restaurant, the Brigham Hardware Store and the Jourdet Floor Covering and Furniture store, was damaged by fire recently. The building was of brick construction, 70 by 100, two stories high. The fire which was of unknown origin started at 4.25 A. M., in an ante room of the Eagle’s Club on the second floor. When the fire department, in command of Chief A. Paulson arrived, smoke was coming from every window and door but no fire could be seen. It was a slow burning fire, hard to reach until well under way. Tne building was gutted and the stock in the stores destroyed.
