METERAGE St. Charles, Mo., contemplates adopting the meter system. There are now about 4,000 meters in use in the City of South Bend, Ind. Fifteen per cent, of the services in Colorado Springs, Colo., are metered. Pittsfield, Mass., is again agitating the question of metering all the services. Oil City, Pa,, now has in ase 4,190 meters, 184 having been set during the year 1914. Superintendent Joseph Kelley, of Algona, la., expects to have all the services in that city metered by the first of June. During last year 113 meters were set in St. Cloud, Minn., making a total in use of 949, according to the annual report of the water department. The water commissioners of New Britain, Conn., have placed on exhibition in the water office a sectional meter, so that property owners can be shown its operation.
