QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS Horses and Gasoline Fumes. To the Editor:—I would like very much to have some information through your valuable paper as to the effect of gasoline fumes on horses, where both horses and motor apparatus are installed in fire stations. We have had motor apparatus in operation close on to three years, and just recently we have had the misfortune of losing three of our horses, the cause of which may be attributed to the fumes of gasoline. If you should have any knowledge of a case of this kind we should like very much to know of it; I have made inquiries while attending the different conventions, and visiting the various stations, I have found conditions elsewhere the same as exist here, namely: horses and motor apparatus in the same station.
