Houston Annual Fire Report Recommendations asking for the building of six new fire stations, and installing therein six triple combination motor pumping engines and one motor combination hose and chemical, are among the items in the annual report of Fire Chief Seibert of Houston, Texas, and which have received the hearty endorsement of Fire Commissioner H. A. Halverton. In addition Chief Seibert asks for a motor drawn aerial truck; that tractors be provided for the aerial truck, water tower, and two steam fire engines at headquarters, also that a motor combination wagon and chemical replace present horse-drawn apparatus at the same station. Immediate purchase of 8,000 feet of 2 1/2-inch and 3,000 feet of 3-inch hose is urged, appointment of two battalion chiefs for outlying districts asked for, the need of an automobile supply wagon shown and the purchase of automobiles for the two assistant chiefs recommended.
