Lowell, Mass.—Council has voted $15,500 for the purchase of motor apparatus. Spring Lake, N. J.—Voters may be given another opportunity next month to approve the proposed $9,000 bond issue for the acquisition of new motor apparatus. Smithfield, R. I.—An appropriation of $1,500 has been voted for additional apparatus. East Rutherford, N, J.—Fire Committee has reported that 500 feet of hose i* needed. Milburn, N.
