FIRE DEPARTMENT DOINGS The 34th annual State Firemen’s Convention of Nebraska will be held in Crawford. The Headley Manor (Pa.) Fire Company No. 1 has applied to the Bucks County Court for a charter. A district fire company of 25 men has been organized at Hartford, Vt., and apparatus has been purchased. Chief Ferber, of Scranton, Pa., is making a careful inspection of all buildings in his city looking towards fire prevention. The fire-fighting equipment of Hamburg, Pa., consists of a new chemical wagon, an engine and four combination wagons. There are 300 members of the department. At the annual business meeting of the local volunteer fire department of Bonesteel, S. D., the following officers were elected: Chief, Jack Biggins; Secretary, i. D. Lindley; Treasurer, S. E.
