FOUR-STATE SECTION OF AMERICAN WATER WORKS ASSOCIATION The organization meeting of the “FourState Section” of the American Water Works Association was held at the Hotel BellevueStratford, Philadelphia, on January 18. The object of the meeting, as the name suggests, was to organize the water works men of the States of Delaware, Maryland, Southern New Jersey and Eastern Pennsylvania into a section of the American Water Works Association. A dinner was served, after which Mr. Charles R. Wood, in his energetic manner, quickly started the hall rolling. C. B. Kendall, of Altoona; S. J. Franklin, of Millville, N. J., and S. M. Van Loan, of Philadelphia, were appointed the committee on election of officers. In the absence of a permanent chairman. Mr. Carleton E.
