FIRE REPORT OF CANTON Chief R. O. Mesnar, of Canton, Ohio, has presented to the mayor and the director of public safety the fire department report for the year 1915, together with valuable recommendations and interesting data for the past fourteen years. The report is Chief Mesnar’s fifteenth and the thirty-second since the organization of the paid department. The total fire loss on buildings and contents for the year was only $32,253.41. The value of buildings and contents was $2,902,240. With a population of 66,642 the per capita loss was but 48 cents and the average approximate loss per cent, to valuation of buildings and contents at risk was one and eleven hundredths per cent. Chief Mesnar’s figures show that the grand loss per cent, on buildings and contents for fourteen years was 1 and 45-100 per cent, and the grand per capita loss for fourteen years was 76 cents…
