UNIVERSAL METERAGE URGED FOR MANSFIELD. That all consumers in Mansfield, Ohio, will soon be required to pay for all water used by the meter rate is considered likely following a report made by Service Director O. Hursh to Mayor Lowrey and read by him at a meeting of the city council. Some action by the council at an early meeting is expected. Director Hursh stated that there are but two ways of relieving the water situation in Mansfield, to get in increased supply and larger pumps at the main station or meter all water services, and said: “Our meter cards for the last six months shovv that of 434,000.000 gallons furnished, 143,000,000 gallons goes through meters, for which we receive $17,931.78.
