Business Buildings Damaged at Richmond

Business Buildings Damaged at Richmond Fire, stated to be of an incendiary origin, was responsible for a fire that recently did considerable damage to several business buildings at Richmond, Va. It is believed the man responsible for this fire was a negro who has since been captured and is believed to have caused about 30 fires during the month of April. The Adams Building, where the fire started, was built of brick and wood about 40 years ago, was three stories high and occupied a space of 50 by 90 feet. The fire started on the first floor at the stairway and elevator early in the morning, and spread so rapidly that four buildings were ablaze when the department arrived. Chief W. H.
