WATER RATES The Fresno (Cal.) City Water Company has voluntarily reduced its rate for irrigating trees. The City Water Commission, of Columbus, Ga., has raised the water limit, so that domestic consumers may now use 20,000 gallons within three months time at $1 a month, whereas the old limit was 15,000 gallons. The Village Trustees of Hudson Falls, N. Y., have turned down the request of Superintendent Wallace G. Aubrey, of the Spring Brook Water Company that the rent of the fire hydrants be paid every three months instead of semi-annually. The Supreme Court Commission has affirmed the Oklahoma County District Court’s decision denying an injunction restraining the city of Edmond from furnishing free water to Central Normal School. Edmond has passed an ordinance to give Central Normal 2,400,000 gallons of water annually, without charge.
