Rensselaer Valve Company Exhibit

Issue 14 and Volume 60.

Rensselaer Valve Company Exhibit The well-known Corey Fire Hydrant was the principal feature of the exhibit of the Rensselaer Valve Company, at the dsplay of water works supplies and appliances at the recent convention of the New England Water Works Association, at Portland, Me. This hydrant has found very satisfactory use in a large number of cities in the United States. Some of the important features claimed for this hydrant are: rapidity of the movement of valves when rapidity is necessary, and maximum moving force where the maximum force is required. Nearly 80,000 of the Rensselaer Fire Hydrants are now being employed for fire protection in many of the large cities of the country.
