New Jersey Chiefs in Convention The fire chiefs of New Jersey had their annual meeting in Atlantic City, as usual, but not at the usual hour. They usually held their meeting the morning after the State Firemen’s Convention, but the State Firemen held a session on Friday morning at 10 o’clock, so the chiefs held their meeting at 9 a. m. to 10 a. m. When the time was announced from the convention platform there was some confusion and a great many chiefs did not hear it announced, consequently the attendance was not as large as it would have been if it could have been at our regular time. The meeting was called to order promptly at 9 a. m. with the president in the chair. There were about forty members present.
