Illinois Firemen’s Association The twenty-eighth annual convention of the Illinois Firemen’s Association is to be held in the City of Bushnell, Ill., on January 9, 10 and 11, 1917, and an active campaign to increase the membership before that time has been inaugurated. In the past five months the association has received twenty-eight new applications for membership, and it is considered that there is no reason why the membership should not reach the three-hundred mark before the convention. With this in mind, President Otto Sorgenfrei, of Blue Island, Ill., has organized the “300 Booster Club,” and buttons with this inscription have been ordered and every member who gets a new member this year will be given a “booster button.” R.
