MOTOR APPARATUS NOTES The motor truck which the city of Ames, Ia., recently received was tested and made an excellent showing. The Robinson pumper of the fire department recently purchased by Sharon, Fa., was given a test, and it was highly satisfactory. Fulton, N. Y., recently had a serious fire and it is now proposed to expend between $15,000 and $20,000 for motor apparatus for the fire department. The town of Hoyertown, near Philadelphia, Pa., has decided to add to its fire equipment by purchasing a new motor triple combination apparatus. Chief Anderson, of Sacramento, Cat., is to have a new automobile. The City Commission have received bids from a number of concerns. Lackawanna, Pa., City Council has recently voted to raise $18,000 for fire equipment. The purchase of two new motor trucks is contemplated.
