Lumber Plant Destroyed at Casey. The building of the Center Lumber Company, located in the central part of Casey, Ill., was recently destroyed by fire, which started from an tunknown cause in the northwest part of the building, which was a onestory wooden structure and ten years old. A passerby discovered the fire at 6:30 p. m. and gave the alarm. The contents, lumber, doors, sash and other building material, fed the flames and the fire made such rapid progress that Chief John Cunningham found the flames had reached all over the building. Chief Cunningham, with fifteen firemen, did good work and had three hydrant streams on the blaze, one thousand feet of hose being in service. The loss was estimated at $19,500.
