THE CAMPAIGN FOR WATER SYSTEMS ON MISSISSIPPI FARMS. A campaign, the object of which is the installation of water works on some ten thousand farms distributed throughout the State of Mississippi, was brought to a finish last week, which was called Water Works Week, the campaign being conducted under the auspices of the Mississippi A. and M. College at Starkville. Pastors of various denominations spoke to their congregations on the subject of sanitation and a pure water supply piped into the house as a means of health and comfort. H. M. Cottrell, manager of the B. M. C. Farm Bureau, on a recent visit to the college, was asked to co-operate in the campaign and the local farm bureau sent speakers into several counties. Speakers carried charts showing what farmers can purchase in the way of water works and presented the argument that the farmers’ wives under the present system…
