Wooster Water Works There is some sentiment in Wooster, Ohio, in favor of using the Applecreek water for the city supply, some believing that it is more practicable and cheaper to use this water than from the Killbuck. In reply to an inquiry as to the suitability of Applecreek water for a water supply a resident of Wooster, an attorney, recently received a letter from Assistant Secretary James F.. Bauman, of the State Board of Health, in which he said: “I am in receipt of your letter of October 20th and note your request for information relative to the suitability of a water supply for Wooster, obtained from Applecreek. In October. 1897, the state board of health condemned the use of Applecreek as a source of water supply.
