METERAGE The water department of the city of Fall River, Mass., have decided to install more Venturi meters. The water department of the city of Knoxville, Tenn., has recently purchased over one thousand meters. According to the annual report of the water department of Bangor, Me., for the year ending March 1, 1916, the following meters were set or in stock during the year: Crown, 45; Empire, 23; Nash, 5; Gem, 25; Lambert, 20; Hersey, 4; Disc, 4; Trident, 1. Total, 127. Meters have been set in all of the schools of Waukegan, Ill., by the water department, pursuant to the action of the city council in demanding that the school board pay for all of the water used in the city schools.
