WATER RATES According to the report of the water department of Bangor, Me., for the year ending March 1, 1916, meter rates for water for other than domestic use are established at 554 cents per 100 cubic feet, but the minimum charge for water under meter rates shall not be less than as follows: For elevators and motors, $6 per quarter; for all other uses, $2 per quarter. The term “domestic use” is construed to include the use of water in private residences, public and private offices, stores, shops and other business places where no water is used except for wash bowls and closets. All water that passes through a meter will be charged for, whether used or wasted.
