FIRE DEPARTMENT DOINGS The Rex-Harris Fire Appliance Company, of New York, Inc., has vacated quarters in East 23rd street, and its new address is 39 East 19th street. Chief James McGann, of the fire department of Stillwater, Minn., has recently received some new equipment including smoke helmets, life saving nets, etc. Ground has been broken for the erection of a handsome new fire house in East Hampton, Long Island, N. Y. The building will cost $10,000 and is to be located on Newton lane. The fire house formerly occupied by Stirilng Engine Company No. 4 at Southold, Long Island, N. Y., has been moved to a new location where it will be used by the Standard Chemical Engine Co. An invitation has been sent to all chiefs of the fire department within a. radius of 50 miles of Lima, Ohio, calling them to that city on April 25 for the…
