Fire Prevention Lectures in Schools As a part of the educational campaign of the New York York City Fire Department to reduce the fire waste in New York City, Fire Commissioner Adamson is carrying on a fire prevention campaign in The Bronx public schools. In cooperation with President Willcox, of the Board of Education, a plan was worked out for a fire department lecturer to talk before the pupils in all the duplicate schools in Bronx Borough. Following out this plan, Mr. Gove Hambidge, a special investigator in the fire department, has been lecturing in the duplicate schools and bringing the lesson of fire prevention before several thousand school children each week.
