Grain Men to be Shown How to Keep Down Fire Loss State Marshal L. T. Hussey, of Kansas, has commissioned a number of special food conservation inspectors to visit all mills, elevators and other places where food-stuffs are kept or stored, in line with the various other fire prevention precautions which have been instituted by state and national bureaus and organizations throughout the country. A notice has been sent to mill, elevator and other grain men by Marshal Hussey advising them of the appointment of such inspectors and warning them not to admit to their premises any one claiming to be acting in that capacity without first inspecting that individual’s credentials. In the case of inspectors appointed by Marshal Hussey a blue card is issued to each man carrying a commission from the Department of State Fire Marshal, of Kansas, and bearing the signature, of the governor and the state…
