PERSONALS Harry Chapman is now chief of the fire department of Chewelah, Wash. Chief P. H. Fields of the fire department of Plattsmouth, Neb., has resigned and Dr. Oscar Sandis has been elected in his place. L. B. Shields, water and light commissioner of Auburn, Neb., has resigned and W. H. Cooper has been placed in charge of the plants temporarily. Charles Evans, E. M. Dutton, Columbus Robinson, E. Corwin and John Ritchie have been elected fire commissioners for the coming three years in Newfane, N. Y. Chief George A. Anderson, of Monongahela, Pa., has vacated his post in the fire department to enter the United States Army. He left the latter part of August for the officers’ reserve camp at Fort Oglethorpe, Ga. W. W. Eddy, former assistant chief of the Lincoln, Neb., fire department, but recently retired on a pension, received notice recently that he has been appointed…
