WATER WORKS NEW ITEMS Work on the new reservoir at Ironton, O., is progressing rapidly. Fort Wayne, Ind., expects to have its new reservoir completed within the next few weeks. Water analysis experts are investigating the supply at Camp Custer, neat Battle Creek, Mich. Orangeburg, S. C., has a new water, light and power plant in operation which cost $75,000. City water at Sapulpa, Okla., is causing damage to plumbing on account of the presence of salt. A new pump has been installed at the standpipe station of the Diamond Water Company, at Hazelton, Pa. Reports from Hazelton, Pa., state that a serious water situation is experienced, and to prevent a shortage all users are urged to prevent waste. The water supply at Hamilton, O., will be improved by the addition of three wells to be drilled by spring. The city will then have a total of thirty wells. At…
