OBITUARY James B. McAllister. James B. McAllister, former chief of the McKeesport, Pa., fire department, died recently. George M. Ottinger. George M. Ottinger, who was chief of the volunteer fire department of Salt Lake City, Utah, from 1875 to 1883, died October 29. He filled many important civic positions after resigning as chief, among which was superintendent of water works. He was 84 years old.
