Although it was only established in 1913, the Grether Fire Equipment Company has had to enlarge its manufacturing equipment and quarters three times. The last move being to the factory, shown herewith. Just a few months ago they purchased their present plant, together with a block of land adjoining. They have erected a brass and aluminum foundry which has placed them in a better position than ever to serve their fire department customers. Early this year the Grether company purchased the patents, patterns and tools of the well-known Hart cellar pipes, torrent pipes, deluge sets and shut-off nozzles, as well as the Aungst plaster forks, all of which they are now manufacturing.
