METERAGE The City Water Company of Marinette, Wis., has installed meters in the city schools. In Medford, Mass., 100 water meters are reported as having frozen during the recent severe weather. Totowa, N. J., has been making tests of meters throughout the town. A meter for testing purposes has been secured for this work. To eliminate entirely the flat rate charges, meters are being installed at Evansville, Ind., by the local water works department. The work of installing meters in every house in Charleston, S. C., has been going on. The city has been divided into districts to facilitate the work. Meters will be furnished the city of Reading, Pa., by the Hersey Manufacturing Company, Boston, Mass. This firm will fill a meter order for $14,970. Recommendation of meter installation at Zanesville, O., will probably result in using that method of computing water rents for the new water supply soon…
