Hotel Fire at Winnemucca A fire, the cause of which is not known, occurred in the four-story Eldorado Hotel, at the corner of Bridge and Third streets, Winnemucca, Nev., recently, which totally destroyed the building. The fire was discovered by a porter at 11.50, who at once gave the alarm, which brought out the fire department, under Chief S. J. Lamb. The fire started in the basement of the hotel, in the furnace room, and was so far advanced when discovered that the hose provided on each floor could not be used. The building was 100×125 feet in area, the first story, about eight years old, being constructed of concrete, and the other two stories, added about two years ago, of brick.
