Tillsonburg Building Saved At Tillsonburg, Ont., Canada, the building of the Huntley Manufacturing Company, a one-story structure of frame, .metal clad and tar roofed, in northeast end of the town, caught fire from an unknown cause and was badly damaged before the department, under Chief Theodore Young, got the fire under control. The night watchman discovered the fire at 10 p. m. in the polishing department, and phoned an alarm. The building seemed all ablaze when the firemen arrived, with two hose wagons and one ladder truck, but with quick work the fire was got under control in an hour, and the building saved from destruction. Two hydrant streams were thrown, from 6-inch double hydrants, 1,200 feet of hose being laid, with nozzles of 1½ inches. The water pressure was efficient at 100 pounds.
