Denver Company Wins in Suit The Denver Union Water Company, while no party to the suit proper, scored a big victory in its fight for water for Cheesman lake, Colorado, recently, when the Colorado Supreme Court reversed itself and affirmed the judgment of District Judge Charles Cavender, of the Park County District Court, in a suit involving the adjudication of water rights in irrigation district No. 23 and docketed as the case of the Antero & Lost Park Reservoir Company against George M. Ohler. Withdrawing its former decision, rendered nearly a year ago, the Supreme Court decreed that the Antero & Lost Park Company’s priorities date from November, 1907, and not from January and March, 1891, as claimed by the company.
