Convention of the Northwestern Ohio Firemen’s Association The forty-fifth annual convention of the Northwestern Ohio Firemen’s Association was held at Napoleon, Ohio, on Wednesday, June 19, 1918. Fifty towns were represented in the parade, together with over 2,000 firemen with twenty bands. In the morning the business meeting was a feature. President C. F. Bradley called the convention to order. Rev. F. S. Keller gave the invocation. Mayor Hanna being on the sick list, Janies P. Ragan gave the welcoming address, at the conclusion of which he presented a huge key of the city to President Bradley, who accepted it on behalf of the visiting firemen. The following resolution was passed: “Resolved, that by these resolutions we express our grief for the passing from this life of the following named brothers since the last report: Marvin J.
