MOTOR APPARATUS NOTES Motor apparatus has been ordered by the city of Tacoma, Wash. The city of Defiance, O., is to purchase some new motor apparatus. The city of Two Rivers, Wis., has in contemplation the purchase of a motordriven chemical engine. Reading. Pa., has ordered a chemical motor truck from the Hahn Motor Truck Company, of Hamburg. The fire fighting equipment of Melbourne, Ia., has been increased by a new truck, built on a Ford chassis. The three fire companies located in the borough of Middletown, Pa., are to be motorized soon, according to reports. The Grand Rapids, Mich., commission has decided on improving the efficiency of the department by adding an aerial truck of the best type. W. E.
