Water Supply of Camp Zachary Taylor Menaced by Carelessness The water supply of Camp Zachary Taylor, situated near Louisville, Ky., according to the military authorities, is menaced by the waste of the citizens of Louisville, who, during the extremely hot weather, have used an abnormally great amount of water. Those in charge of the camp’s water supply are seeking to interest the people of the city in conserving the supply until the contemplated improvements are completed, when the danger of a shortage will be averted. When the camp was constructed the water supply was based on a population of 42,000for the military city, but at present there are more than 50,000troops on the reservation.
