Baltimore Water Board Makes More Equitable Charges The Water Board of Baltimore, Md., has recently made important changes in water rent charges, which, in its opinion, will be more equitable The water rent charges for churches and private schools were put on the basis of the seating capacity; churches of a seating capacity under 500 will from now on have to pay $3.25 a year; over 500, $6.50. Private schools of a seating capacity under 100 will be charged $6.50; over 100, $10 a year. Heretofore the charge for all schools had been $6.00 a year. Barber shops will be charged on the basis of the number of chairs; those with less than four chairs to pay $5 a year; those with more than four chairs, $8 a year.
