THE FACTORY OF THE CLARK COMPANY BEING REBUILT The great factory of the H. W. Clark Company, manufacturers of the Clark meter box and water works appliances, Mattoon, Ill., which was totally destroyed by the tornado of last year, is now being rebuilt. Since the terrible catastrophe which wrecked the plant the company has been operating in cramped temporary quarters under which trying conditions it has taken care of its trade and made shipments regularly, all in a very satisfactory manner. It is reconstructing this plant on the old site in Mattoon, utilizing a part of the foundations and some of the building material. The new plant under course of construction will be the most modern in every respect, being substantially constructed of brick, stone, concrete and steel with steel sash daylight construction throughout.
