PERSONALS Harry H. Elliott, for several years chief of the Huntsville, Ala., fire department, has resigned and expects to engage in business in his old home, Memphis, Tenn. Homer R. Turner, who went to Fo_____ Wright to attend the artillery officers’ training school, has received honorable discharge and returned to his duties as superintendent of the Windsor, Conn., fire district. Arthur L. Tracey, superintendent of machinery in the fire department of Bridgeport, Conn., was retired on half pay, $1,500 per annum, recently. He was appointed call man in 1887, permanent member in January, 1887, and assistant engineer in 1892, engineer in 1895, and to his latest position in 1908. D. B. Reynolds, assistant superintendent of the Beaumont, Texas, water works commission, has been appointed to fill the vacancy on the executive committee of the Southw’estern Water Works Association, caused by the resignation of J.
