FILTRATION Employees of the filtration plant at Dallas, Tex., has been allowed a monthly bonus of $10. Logansport, Ind., once more has a water supply of unassailable purity, according to City Chemist Langfritz. The work at the filter plant is practically completed and tests of the water pumped into the mains showed highly satisfactory results. The supply of chlorine gas in stock is considered fully adequate for the winter’s needs. Local reports from East Hartford, Conn., say that there is no serious alarm caused by the statement of the commissioner of public health that the water supply is contaminated.
