FIRE COLLEGE NOTES Data of Interest to Progressive Chiefs and Firemen The Importance of First Aid in the Instruction of Firemen The absolute necessity of the training of all members of the fire department in the principles of first aid to the injured is becoming more and more universally recognized by the chiefs and those who have charge of the examinations of recruits to the service. In fact, in most of the cities of importance and in many of the smaller departments the applicant is required to pass an examination in first aid before he is admitted to membership in the department.
