Good Showing of Dover Water Works

Issue 2 and Volume 65.

Good Showing of Dover Water Works The Board of Water Commissioners of Dover, N. J., is justifiably proud of the showing of the department at the end of the year just closed. Besides paying operating expenses and improving and enlarging the system, the commissioners will pay off three $1,000 bonds on the interest bearing date, February 1, and still have a balance of $500. Revenue from consumers totaling $5,000 will begin to come in this month and from this the department will have funds to defray the cost of the new chlorine plant that is to be installed, and will also meet the $800 interest on the bonded indebtedness.
