Would Provide Water for Greater Dallas

Issue 2 and Volume 65.

Would Provide Water for Greater Dallas Construction of a large reservoir sufficient to supply a city of 150,000 more population is advocated by Commissioner A. C. Caton, of Dallas, Tex. He expresses the belief that preparations for this improvement should not be delayed more than a year, and that the project should be completed within five years. Mayor Lawther holds the same opinion, and fully supports the commissioner in his recommendations. The mayor has called upon all the business interests of the city to bestir themselves in behalf of a Greater Dallas program of expansion, pointing out that the oil boom will attract thousands of families to the vicinity and that the return of the soldiers from France and army camps will mean a greatly increased population.
