Hackensack Company Plans Another Reservoir The Hackensack Water Company, which supplies a number of New Jersey towns, is constructing a large reservoir at Oradell. as the reservoir at Woodcliff Lake had ceased to be sufficient. Although the new reservoir at Oradell is not yet completed, the growth of the municipalities served by the Hackensack Water Company has compelled the company to take steps toward creating still another reservoir. This is to be established at Pearl River in Rockland County, New York, and its main feeder will be Pascack Brook, which now empties into Woodcliff Lake. By impounding the waters of this stream in Rockland County, millions of gallons of water, which nowflows into Woodcliff Lake and over the spillway, can be held as a reserve supply for Woodcliff Lake.
