Two Northern Apparatus On this page are illustrated two fire engines manufactured by the Northern Fire Apparatus Company, Minneapolis, Minn., the upper being furnished to the Morris, Ill., fire department, and consisting of a Packard, 1914, six-cylinder chassis, equipped with the Northern type B rotary pump and type C hose car equipment. Under test the pump of this engine threw well over 500 gallons per minute at 120 pounds net pump pressure, drafting water fifteen feet. The other machine illustrated is a Dodge extended wheel base truck, furnished with type B combination chemical and hose equipment, for Wolf Point, Mont , fire department. This car has been put in service and has given the Montana city good satisfaction.
